NATIVE VINES OF XAREL·LO
Varieties: Very old native vines of 100% Xarel·lo.
Terrain: The vines are located on very poor clay and some calcareous soils at an altitude of between 300 and 500 metres. Terrain of the Tarragona region in the Baix Penedès and Alt Camp counties. They are all vines from the province of Tarragona that originate from the Baix Penedès and Alt Camp, so it is a wine variety without a DO status, a wine made from the vines close to the farmhouse.
Ageing: Produced, fermented and aged over 10 months with 20% of the wine in large, 300 and 400 litre French oak casks and the other in stainless steel tanks on its lees with bâtonnage, a stirring of the lees, each week.
Organic wine: Starting from the 2019 vintage.
