Estate

At Mas Vilella, we have 8 hectares of vineyards on an estate of 20 hectares in total, located in the Serra del Rotllat mountains at the start of the protected Montmell Nature Reserve.

They are vines from the province of Tarragona which originate from Baix Penedès and Alt Camp, so it is a varietal wine without a D.O., a wine from the old vineyards close to the farmhouse.

The vineyards are not far from the wonderful Mediterranean Sea and always with the powerful mountain range of Montmell in sight.
The vineyards are located on very poor clay soils, some of which are also calcareous, at an altitude of 300 to 500 meters above sea level.
